Christmas Cookie Lasagna

Christmas Cookie Lasagna

  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 36 Golden Oreo cookies (one standard package)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold whole milk (for the cream cheese layer)
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed and divided
  • 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant white chocolate or vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold whole milk (for the pudding layer)
  • 1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup festive red and green sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup mini white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Place the Golden Oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs to a medium bowl and pour in the melted butter. Stir the mixture until the crumbs are evenly moistened, then press them firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place the dish in the refrigerator to set while you prepare the next layer.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it is smooth and lump-free. Add the granulated sugar, two tablespoons of milk, and the alcohol-free vanilla extract, then mix until well combined. Gently fold in about half of the whipped topping (4 ounces) until the mixture is light and fluffy. Spread this layer evenly over the chilled cookie crust.
  3. In another large bowl, combine both packages of instant pudding mix with the three cups of cold whole milk. Whisk the mixture vigorously for about two minutes until it begins to thicken. Let it sit for a moment to firm up slightly, then carefully pour it over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish. Use a spatula to smooth it out to the edges.
  4. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer, being careful not to mix the two. Once the top is smooth, generously scatter the red and green sprinkles and the mini white chocolate chips over the entire surface. The colors will immediately give it that classic holiday look that everyone loves.
  5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, though overnight is even better. This chilling time allows the layers to set properly so you can cut clean, beautiful squares. Serve cold directly from the refrigerator for the best texture.
